IMPURE was formed in 1994 and released their first album in 1997 under the name of "Acts of Contrition". This album was more Thrash/Death Metal oriented and did not have a lot of repercusion in the death metal scene. This album was released by "Sin Records" (Bilbao, SPAIN) and the current IMPURE line-up prefer not to have this album reviewed nor play songs of it anymore.

During the same year (1997) the band split-up due to internal musical differences, so RAFA (guitar) took over responsibility for IMPURE's future. Three years later, other members joined the band, playing a more modern death metal style, but in the following years the band suffered diverse line-up changes, and was only in 2002 when this line-up becomes stable being comprised by three murderous psychotics: RAFA (guitars), PINTXE (bass & gutural, gruntsick vocals), CUERVO (drums).

In July 2002 this line-up recorded a promo-track to show the scene the great potential they had, receiving very good reviews and a great acceptance in the scene. In April 2003, the band recorded an album titled "Corpses... Intense Stench". The album contains eight brutal, intense, fast and gory tracks without any kind of concessions plus a video-clip for the song "Sexual Eschatology". This album was released by New York's based death metal label GOREGIASTIC RECORDS on November 15th 2003 and was re-issued on April 19th 2005 with new artwork and improved layout design.

After playing as many shows as they could in Spain and Europe in general, the band started working on their latest opus to be titled "Hemicorporectomy" which is comprised of 8 tracks of the most extreme, intense yet dark brutal death metal ever to be spawned from Spain!. This new album is scheduled to hit the streets on January 28th 2007 once again under the GOREGIASTIC RECORDS veil.

In February 2007, CUERVO (drums) abandons the band for personal reasons,disabling the live presentation of the last work "Hemicorporectomy".
 After an incessant search of a violent and merciless drummer, NARCISSUS finishes occupying the position injecting more adrenaline to this sonic bulldozer. Subsequently EDORTA would unite to reinforce the line-up with another crushing and harrowing guitar.

IMPURE hasn't  lost the essence and the band has grown, increasing its live presence, so you can wait a superior dose of Brutal Death.

Be prepared for tons of shows in support of this new brutal masterpiece and experience the murderous, suffocating and relentless brutality that only bands like IMPURE can unleash!

IMPURE se forma en el año 1994 y publico su primer album en el 1997 bajo el nombre de "Acts of Contrition". Este album orientado mas al Thrash/Death Metal no tuvo mucha repercusion en la escena death metal. Dicho album fue publicado por "Sin Records" (Bilbao,Spain -- RIP) y la actual formacion prefiere no tener en cuenta ni tocar canciones de dicho album.

Durante el mismo año (1997) la banda se dividio por diferencias musicales internas, quedando RAFA como responsable del futuro de IMPURE. Tres años mas tarde, otros miembros se unieron a la banda, tocando un estilo mas moderno de death metal, pero en los sucesivos años la banda sufrio diversos cambios de formacion, y fue en el 2002 cuando la formacion llego ha ser estable por tres psicoticos asesinos: RAFA (guitarras), PINTXE (bajo y voces guturales), CUERVO (bateria).

En Julio del 2002 esta formacion grabo una promo-cancion para mostrar a la escena el gran potencial que teniamos, recibiendo muy buenas criticas y una gran aceptacion en la escena. En Abril del 2003, la banda graba un album titulado "Corpses...Intense Stench". Este album contiene ocho brutales, intensas, rapidas y ensangretandas canciones sin ningun tipo de concesiones mas un video-clip de la cancion " Sexual Eschatology". Este album fue publicado por el sello de death metal con base en New York GOREGIASTIC RECORDS el 15 de Noviembre del 2003 y fue re-editado el 19 de Abril del 2005 con nuevo diseño de portada y libreto.

Despues de tocar algunos shows tanto en España como en Europa en general, la banda empezo a trabajar su ultimo opus con el titulo "Hemicorporectomy" el cual esta compuesto de ocho canciones de lo mas extremo, intenso y oscuro brutal death metal creado en España. Este nuevo album esta programado para ver las calles sobre el 28 Enero 2007 otra vez bajo el velo de GOREGIASTIC RECORDS.

En Febrero de 2007, CUERVO (batería) abandona la banda por razones personales, imposibilitando la presentación en directo del ultimo trabajo "Hemicorporectomy".

Tras una incesante busqueda de un violento y despiadado batería, NARCISSUS ocupa finalmente el puesto injectando mas adrenalina a este bulldozer sonico. Seguidamente, EDORTA se une reforzando la formación con otra aplastante y desgarradora guitarra.

IMPURE no ha perdido su esencia y ha crecido como banda, incrementando su presencia en directo, con lo que puedes esperar una dosis aún mayor de Brutal Death.

Preparate para toneladas de shows en apoyo de esta nueva obra maestra y experimenta los asesinatos, la sofocante brutalidad despiadada que unicamente bandas como IMPURE pueden desencadenar.

Actualmente IMPURE se encuentra trabajando en nuevas canciones para un proximo album.
